Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

About the Role

Join Golden Valley Health Centers as a Pharmacist In Charge – West Modesto, $146k+ in Modesto, California. The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy including dispensing and consulting on prescriptions, financial performance, compliance with state and 340B regulations, staff performance, and customer service. Position will work at our West Modesto Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

Prepares, fills, and verify prescriptions as ordered by physicians and other authorized personnel as provided for by California Law and provide consults to patient as applicable.

Stores and preserves medications and vaccines as appropriate.

Checks incoming shipments of pharmacy supplies and medications and arranges for their storage.

Charges 3rd party payer for dispensed medications.

Requirements

Excellent Communication Skills, ability to successfully interact with patients, family members, and staff.

Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and push 100 pounds on wheels.

Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. High manual dexterity.

Reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn, and good finger sensation.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary: $146K - $166K

PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.
