Select and prepare appropriate supplies for the preoperative period based on the day’s schedule.

Complete and review the patient’s pre

operative assessment prior to procedure time.

Identify the patient and surgery location.

Requirements

Required: 1. Licensed as a Registered Nurse. 2. Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing. 3. BLS certification.

Preferred: 1. 1+ years of experience working as a Registered Nurse. 2. Experience working in surgery prep/PACU. 3. ACLS and PALS certifications. Specific Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal communication skills. 1. The ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients and family members in a way they will understand.

Kind and compassionate demeanor.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

No weekends required.
