Key Responsibilities
- Must work some weekends Respiratory Care Department highlights: The potential for high job satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment from making a difference in patients' lives.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required NICU experience strongly preferred RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner upon hire required and RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire required and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support ICU and Emergency Department only 90 Days required and NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP required if working in the NICU 90 Days required Good verbal communications, good interpersonal skills, and computer experience What You Will Do Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from the patient or family.
- Must be willing to train and be a member of our neonatal EXTERNAL transport team Applies appropriate patient care interventions according to protocol guidelines and priority of care.
