Key Responsibilities

The Social Worker is responsible for providing professional social work services to patients and families dealing with complex medical and psychiatric psycho-social issues. This includes direct inpatient and outpatient services, as well as social work activities throughout the hospital to help cope with health-affecting emotional and social problems.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work and hold a State of California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license. Preferred experience includes work in an acute care hospital or inpatient psychiatric unit, along with knowledge of community resources.
