About the Role

Join Finger Lakes Health as a Pharmacist II per diem in United States. Works cooperatively with other health care team members to provide pharmacy component of patient care services. Supervises distribution of pharmaceuticals to patients and provides information to promote the safe and effective use of these agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight of pharmacy information systems, and implements changes and upgrades to the automated medication dispensing system.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Minimum: • BS in Pharmacy Preferred: • PharmD LICENSE: Minimum: • Current NYS Pharmacist license (or eligible).
  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred: • One year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  • SKILLS: Minimum: • Familiarity with unit dose systems, preparation of intravenous admixtures, parenteral nutrition solutions, and chemotherapy.
  • • Computer experience and knowledge of pharmacokinetic dosing principles and principles involved in dosage adjustments and monitoring for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

  • Per Diem position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
