About the Role

Join UPMC as a Behavioral Health Therapist – M-F, Sign-On Bonus in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • · Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  • · Documentation: Complete clinical documentation on the same day of service and provide necessary information for service authorization.
  • · Case Reviews: Periodically review cases and serious clinical changes with supervisors and clinical personnel.
  • · Patient Assessment: Assess changing patient needs and incorporate them into treatment plans.

Requirements

  • as defined in practicing state's code) · One year of clinical experience preferred.
  • · Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred.
  • · Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.
  • ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR GRADUATE LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED WITH YOUR APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE CONSIDERATION PROCESS.
