Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients using standard procedures, assessing motor and neurological capabilities to direct, plan, and execute therapy programs aimed at promoting patient independence. This role involves establishing therapy goals with physicians, preparing treatment plans, providing individual or group therapy, and documenting all patient treatments and progress.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current license to practice in the State of Michigan. One year of clinical experience is preferred, along with initial certification or eligibility for certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
