About the Role

Join Fairview Health Services as a Psychiatric Associate – Adolescent Mental Health in United States. Job Overview We at Fairview are looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Associate to join the hardworking Riverside side location on the University of Minnesota Campus! 7A is a 13 bed unit, that serves child and Adolescent unit that serve patients between the ages of 10-18 all single occupancy.

Key Responsibilities

Conducts safety checks of patients through visual observation and documentation.

Conducts room, belonging and unit searches.

Responds and participates in de-escalation of patient including physical intervention as trained.

Actively participates in milieu management with treatment team collaboration.

Requirements

Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in a Human Services Field and experience working with behavioral patients.
