Join Family Care Health Centers as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Adult Psychiatry in United States. Description 1. BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the provision of psychiatric care to the adult patients of FCHC in collaboration with the FCHC psychiatrist.

Key Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with FCHC psychiatrist, provision of psychiatric care to the patients of FCHC, age 18 and above: 1.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Obtain complete medical/psychiatric history from patient, and/or family, and/or previous medical record, etc.
  • Provide continuity of care to patients needing extended psychiatric care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri required.
  • Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • One plus (1+) years of practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
