- Consistently adheres and/or exceeds GVHC’s communication guidelines and expectations with patients, peers, and supervisors.
- Exemplifies professional and welcoming communication through respectful language, positive tone, appropriate body language, and consistent eye contact.
- Demonstrates strong active listening skills, showing empathy and understanding while responding to patient and team needs with professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform physical examinations, for patients across all age ranges, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a wide variety of presenting concerns/conditions.
Requirements
- Exposure to biohazards, including infectious material and waste and any other conditions common in a health care environment.
- Subject to unpleasant odors.
- Provides care in a mobile unit across varied community settings, requiring adaptability to outdoor environments and changing conditions.
