About the Role

Join PEOPLE'S HEALTH CENTERS as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Missouri in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing psychiatric care for clients.
  • Consult with corroborating psychiatrist on cases that are beyond the scope of qualification of PHMNP.
  • Put all relevant patient data in medical records and case presentations.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to the clinic’s nursing as well as interdisciplinary staff for the wellbeing of clients, which enhances overall quality service delivery of the clinic.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing from a state approved and accredited school for professional nursing training.
  • Two years’ experience practicing as a PMHNP is strongly preferred.
  • Possess and maintain PMHNP licensure in MO, which must be unrestricted, current, complete, and active.
  • Obtain Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or licensure.
