About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- will do in this role: Observe and maintain a safe environment through regular patient checks, safety monitoring, contraband searches, and one‑on‑one supervision as needed.
- conduct unit safety checks each shift.
- Provide orientation and mentorship to new staff, serve as a preceptor, and train colleagues on group facilit.
- develop guides for group presentations with appropriate approvals.
Requirements
- High school degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
- Will require valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle.
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
