Key Responsibilities
- JOB PURPOSE: Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients.
- Supervises pharmacy technician activities including monitoring of all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.
- Assumes responsibility for competency and self-development in professional pharmacy practice and maintains a working knowledge of the current USP 797/800 rules affecting the home infusion pharmacy.
Requirements
- MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Pharmacy.
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: NA MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia.
- ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One year experience in acute care or Home Infusion preferred.
