Key Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients.

Supervises pharmacy technician activities including monitoring of all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.

Assumes responsibility for competency and self-development in professional pharmacy practice and maintains a working knowledge of the current USP 797/800 rules affecting the home infusion pharmacy.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Pharmacy.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: NA MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One year experience in acute care or Home Infusion preferred.
