About the Role

Join CVS Health as a Pharmacist - Specialty Compounding Pharmacy in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinically interprets and evaluates all physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety, and completeness.
  • Performs accurate computer order entry, labeling and dispensing in accordance with policies and procedures and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Works with product procurement/reimbursement team to provide payor specific formulary products and ensure product availability for new medication orders.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Clinical Pharmacy
  • Computer skills (word processing, database, spreadsheet programs).
  • Read, analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Write and present information to managers, patients, nurses and physicians
