About the Role
Join Mount Sinai South Nassau as a full-time Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopedics. This role supports diagnosis and treatment under physician supervision within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and diagnose illnesses.
- Order and interpret tests.
- Assist in surgery and prescribe medications.
- Provide patient counseling on preventive care.
- Frequent standing, walking, and patient transfers.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited PA program.
- Certified or eligible for NCCPA certification.
- Current New York State licensure.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
