About the Role
Join Oak Medical as a Part-Time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates and manages patients for wound care and ensures delivery of care meets current standards of practice.
- Ensures education is provided to the facility staff regarding patient's wound(s).
- Addresses both acute and chronic primary care complaints, and able to ascertain medical urgency.
- Applies principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Requirements
- Valid Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License.
- Wound Care Board Certification (WOCN), or within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS).
- DEA License, or ability to obtain.
