Key Responsibilities

- Treat deformities, such as flat or weak feet and foot imbalance by mechanical and electrical methods, such as whirlpool or paraffin baths and short wave and low voltage currents.
- Treat conditions, such as corns, calluses, in
- growing nails, tumors, shortened tendons, bunions, cysts, and abscesses by surgical methods, including suturing, medications, and administration of local anesthetics.
Requirements
- year podiatric college providing a general medical curriculum parallel to that of traditional medical schools, but with special emphasis on the lower extremity.
- Capable of dealing with comprehensive foot and ankle care.
- Candidates with experience to include clinical and/or residency experience is desired; however, all experience will be considered.
- Degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, or DPM.
Work Schedule
- Per Diem position.
- No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
