Key Responsibilities

The Family Service Counselor is accountable for serving client families by managing at-need cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need arrangements, acting as the primary contact while generating revenue for the cemetery. Key duties include daily prospecting, building community relationships, presenting options to families, and ensuring high-quality, seamless service through teamwork with other staff members.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must possess a High school diploma or equivalent, ideally with 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience, and 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience is preferred. A current state-issued driver's license is required, and the ability to obtain an insurance license if mandated by state law is necessary.
