Key Responsibilities

• will be responsible for administering therapeutic radiation treatments to patients with dermatologic conditions under the direction of dermatologists and radiation oncologists.

• will ensure that our patients receive the best possible care in a safe and comfortable setting.

• will give the correct dose of radiation to the appropriate area of the patient's body * Administers the prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts by positioning patients accurately according to the prescription, operating and adjusting the radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards.

• Must be detailed oriented to insure exact measurements * Very good interpersonal skills to interact with patients and coworkers * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.

Requirements

• Current and valid certification/licensure as a Radiation Therapist.

• Strong understanding of radiation therapy techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.

• Must be detailed oriented to insure exact measurements

• Very good interpersonal skills to interact with patients and coworkers

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
