Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant is responsible for patient care under a supervising physician, collaborating with medical teams, and performing a broad spectrum of care including critical thinking, diagnosis, ordering diagnostics, and implementing therapeutic measures in inpatient, surgical, and/or outpatient settings. This role assumes medical staff privileging determined by the Mount Sinai Health System and the department of hire.

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Program, with a Master's degree preferred, and hold NCCPA Board Certification. Required credentials include a New York State License, DEA Certificate, BLS, ACLS, and New York State Infection Control Certification.
