About the Role

Join Silverado Hospice in Austin, Texas as a Part Time Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW). Provide compassionate emotional support, counseling, and resource coordination for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in hospice care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
Document bereavement activities and design educational materials.
Develop grief and loss programs for families and staff.
Provide community consultation and education on hospice services.
Attend staff meetings and case conferences.
Assess suicide risk, mental capacity, and abuse.
Assist with advance directives and financial planning.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work.
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Training in grief and loss counseling.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
