About the Role

Join Silverado Hospice in Austin, Texas as a Part Time Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW). Provide compassionate emotional support, counseling, and resource coordination for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in hospice care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans.
• Document bereavement activities and design educational materials.
• Develop grief and loss programs for families and staff.
• Provide community consultation and education on hospice services.
• Attend staff meetings and case conferences.
• Assess suicide risk, mental capacity, and abuse.
• Assist with advance directives and financial planning.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Training in grief and loss counseling.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
