About the Role
Join Gun Lake Tribe as a Staff Pharmacist in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications to patients after review and verification, ensuring patient information is correct.
- Counsel patients on prescribed medications, including dosage, side effects, interactions, and proper storage.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
- Maintain pharmacy records, including patient profiles, charge files, inventories, and controlled substance registries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program (PharmD or BS in Pharmacy)
- Current Michigan Pharmacist license in good standing
- Three (3) years of progressive experience in retail or clinic pharmacy operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of 340B pharmacy requirements preferred DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work Schedule
- Part-Time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
