About the Role

Join Acadia Healthcare as a Psychiatrist - Inpatient in United States. Overview Location: Pacific Grove Hospital, 5900 Brockton Ave, Riverside, CA 92506 Position: Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatrist Caseload: 1 unit; 20-24 beds. Call Schedule: 1 week (M-F) per month and 1 weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.

Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.

Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.

Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.

One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.

Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry.
