The APRN will assist physicians in the care and teaching of oncology patients, including conducting physical exams, managing treatment plans, and participating in multi-disciplinary rounds. They are also responsible for documenting patient progress, triaging urgent cases, and promoting cancer treatment services to the public.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and possess a valid state license. A minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology, along with current BLS and ANCC or ONS certifications, is required.
