Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible

This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

About the Role

Join Los Angeles LGBT Center as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in United States.

Key Responsibilities

will provide trauma-informed and culturally competent psychiatric assessment and management to patients at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

will also be expected to provide episodic care for non-panel patients as needed.

will conduct clinical encounters with new and returning patients including: obtaining a comprehensive psychosocial and medical history, reviewing past and current psychotropic medications, providing differential diagnosis, and developing a treatment plan.

lead healthier, happier lives, by keeping their minds and body well.

Requirements

Knowledge of or experience working with the LGBTQ community and familiarity with issues of particular relevance to LGBTQ people.

A passion for the Center’s work and its mission to make the world a better place for LGBTQ people.

CA RN license/MSN with current CA Furnishing Number.

ANCC/ California Nurse Practitioner Certification.
