Key Responsibilities

  • Be an engaged collaborative team player, developing and maintaining professional relationships that support and strengthen the organizational culture and purpose.
  • Complies with all the regulations under the Provincial Health Authority Standards and Regulations.
  • Participates in the assessment of each resident’s functional abilities and in cooperation with other members of the multidisciplinary team, plans, implements, and evaluates the resident’s care plan.
  • Completes MDS assessment on admission and quarterly or as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Sciences from a recognized program. 1 year of post
  • graduate experience in Occupational therapy in geriatrics preferred.
  • Current and ongoing registration with the Provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Broad knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory and practice within a client and family centered model of care.

Work Schedule

  • Contract position.
