Neonatologist

Imagine joining a nationally recognized neonatology team at a brand-new hospital opening in summer 2026. This per diem Neonatologist role offers the chance to help build a Level II NICU from the ground up in Lakeland, Florida. You'll work alongside Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Pediatric Hospitalists in a collaborative care model, covering 10 shifts per month with a 30-minute on-call response time. The hospital is a large, state-of-the-art facility with robust labor and delivery services and a projected NICU census of 5-6 patients.
