Inpatient Pharmacist 7 on 7 off

This Pharmacy position at Ascension is open to pharmacist candidates.

Pharmacists are expanding beyond traditional dispensing roles into clinical consulting, medication management, and remote pharmacy services.

This position is based in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Key skills and qualifications: Medication management, Order validation, Clinical pharmacotherapy, Sterile compounding, Non-sterile compounding, Medication reconciliation, Patient counseling, Anticoagulation management. Candidates with experience in these areas may be especially well-suited for this Pharmacy role.

Core responsibilities: The pharmacist will validate medication orders for clinical appropriateness and perform accurate compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications. They will also provide expert pharmacotherapy information to providers and conduct patient-centered counseling to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
