About the Role

Join Vertis Therapy as a Lead Therapist – Flexible Schedule in United States. Description Vertis Therapy is looking for a dedicated Lead Therapist Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physical Therapy Assistant at our beautiful Assisted Living community with MSS. Methodist Senior Services is a faith-based, non-profit company that focuses on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures that rehabilitation services are provided in compliance with Vertis and facility policies and procedures; State, Federal, and professional organization regulatory standards and guidelines.

Coordinates resident screening (PT/OT/SLP) programs.

Serves as advocate for meeting the rehabilitation needs of residents.

Coordinates attendance at care plan and departmental meetings.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Current license/certification in the state of Indiana.

Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
