Join Trillium Health Partners as a Social Worker – Crisis Intervention, M-F in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Position: Social Worker - Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Dept/Health Program: Mental Health Program Posting ID: 7290 Status: Temporary Full-Time (approx. 6 months) - 2 positions Role Level: AH10.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of patient care, providing crisis intervention services in the Emergency Department
- Coordinating follow up services with relevant community resources
- Practitioner, consultant and educator for appropriate patient groups and health care team members
- Provide written assessment and treatment recommendations
Requirements
- Registered in good standing with OCSWSSW and eligible for membership with OASW
- M. S. W. preferred
- Member of OCSWSSW
- Experience in individual, couple and family counselling essential
