About the Role
This Social Worker position serves Veterans in the Community Living Center at the Dallas VA Medical Center. The role involves discharge planning, case management, advocacy, and psychosocial education.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments.
- Provide case management and discharge planning.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop resource files and referrals.
- Advocate for Veterans and their families.
Requirements
- Must be a current or past federal employee or member of the public.
- Relevant social work licensure and experience.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $85,768 to $134,895 per year (GS 9-11).
- Full-time permanent appointment.
- No relocation assistance.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- No weekends required.
- Call and night shift requirements not specified.
This position is not telework eligible and requires on-site presence. No travel or relocation reimbursement is provided.
