Mental Health Therapist (Pediatrics)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing clinical reassessments.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and caregivers.

• Address common pediatric mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, adjustment issues, and family-related stressors.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current, unrestricted Texas license to practice as Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

• Experience: Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents preferred.

• Experience in a community health center, school-based clinic, or integrated primary care setting is a plus.
