About the Role

The Social Worker position is within the PTSD Clinical Team at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System in Cleveland, Ohio. This role focuses on assessing, coordinating care, and treating Veterans with PTSD, including combat-related and other trauma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with Veterans and families.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and screenings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
  • Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate community resources.
  • Provide consultation on psychosocial needs related to PTSD.

Requirements

  • Must be a U. S. citizen or federal employee.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary range: $78,764 to $123,893 per year (GS 9-11 scale).
