About the Role

Join University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist – Rotating Shifts in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications per physician’s orders in all patient care areas in accordance with departmental and applicable laws.

Compounds and dispenses prescribed ambulatory prescriptions with direct patient interaction ensuring compliance with all regulatory agents.

Detects, prevents, evaluates, and reports, when necessary, Adverse Drug Events.

Requirements

ACPE sterile product / IV cert preferred PGY 1 Residency trained or 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience.

JOB SUMMARY: Clinical Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients and health care staff through integrated drug distribution and clinical services.

Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications per physician’s orders in all patient care areas in accordance with departmental and applicable laws.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.
