Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in a behavioral health setting, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating psychiatric nursing care according to established standards. This includes coordinating treatment plans, administering medications, participating in therapeutic interventions, and promoting patient safety and recovery within the therapeutic milieu.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) as required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, along with current state RN licensure and BLS certification. Strong preference is given to candidates with experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing and proficiency in de-escalation techniques.
