Key Responsibilities

  • and Responsibilities: Reviews prescriptions and prepares medications for dispensing.
  • Counsels’ patients on medication drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
  • Reviews and authorizes prescriptions with delegated prescriptive authority under state approved Collaborative Drug Therapy Agreements.
  • Aids in helping patients obtain insurance/patient assistance options.

Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Rph or PharmD from accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current valid licensure in the state of Washington and/or Idaho required.
  • Prior non-profit experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
