The physician will conduct patient intakes, monitor clinical progress during group sessions, and manage medication dosing. They are also responsible for authorizing prescriptions and completing clinical notes within the EMR system.
Candidates must hold an active MD/DO license and DEA registration in the applying state, along with board certification. A minimum of one year of experience prescribing Buprenorphine and specific SAMHSA training or DEAX designation is required.
