Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

About the Role

Join Banner Health in Sterling, Colorado as a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. You will work alongside orthopedic surgeons providing full-spectrum surgical care including rounding on hospital patients, clinic visits, and surgical first assist in the OR.

Key Responsibilities

• Round on patients on hospital floor
• See patients in orthopedic surgery clinic
• Provide surgical first assist in the OR

Requirements

• Board Certification as Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Prescribing privileges including DEA license
• ACNP with RNFA certificate required
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• 1-2 years orthopedic or general surgical experience preferred; new graduates considered
• 3-year commitment

Work Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 50% clinic, 50% OR
• No call, no weekends, no holidays
