Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers advanced respiratory care for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions, performing critical diagnostics and managing mechanical ventilation. Essential functions include independently managing ventilator settings, assisting with emergency interventions, and educating patients and staff on respiratory treatments.

Requirements

Candidates must graduate from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program and hold current state licensure, RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Preferred experience is three years in respiratory therapy, demonstrating proficiency in ventilator management and critical care procedures.
