About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Social Worker – Inpatient Psychiatry Float in United States. This position serves as the float Social Worker amongst the inpatient psychiatry units, serving both adults and adolescents. As a float, your assignment may change daily or based upon the needs of the team, filling in for PTO or other scheduled time off.

Key Responsibilities

Communicates effectively verbally and in writing while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external support systems.

Participates in the development and implementation of the treatment/transition plan.

Complies with ethical and NASW standards for social workers in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

A Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program is required, along with licensure at the LGSW, LISW, provisional LGSW, or provisional LICSW level from the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
