RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (PRN)

Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist monitors patient progress and administers prescribed breathing treatments, including the operation of mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators. They are also responsible for evaluating treatment effectiveness, documenting care, and coordinating discharge plans with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree of Applied Science and current CRT or RRT certification from the state of Texas. Active CPR certification and experience working in an acute hospital setting are also required.
