Key Responsibilities
- Completes a comprehensive psychosocial assessment on all patients within 72 hours of admission.
- Assess medical necessity and intensity of services using the Milliman and Interqual Criteria.
- Conduct insurance notification, certification and concurrent reviews on all assigned patients.
- Coordinates individual staffing/treatment planning meetings within 72 hours of admission to develop individual treatment plans, monitor the effectiveness of care.
Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload efficiently and accept/respond to change in a manner that promotes and supports departmental/hospital goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation. COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understands and adheres to Loretto Hospital’s compliance standards as they appear in the Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
- Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Hospital regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
