Join UnitedHealth Group as a Pharmacist – Per Diem, Flexible Weekend Shifts in United States. Optum NV is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.

Key Responsibilities

related to the fulfillment of prescription orders.

Interpret physicians' prescriptions and create orders, access, input, and retrieve prescription information from computer system, verify whether orders are reimbursable.

Consult with customers, patients, nurses and/or physicians regarding best use of medications, potential drug interactions, side effects and dosing recommendations.

The pharmacist will be accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operations of all aspects within the pharmacy.

Primary Responsibilities: Takes new prescriptions.

Per Diem position.
