Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations to assess health status and identify medical conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and coordinating surgical or specialty referrals as needed.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in the United States.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
