Pathology Physician

About the Role

A medical center in eastern West Virginia seeks a Pathology Physician for locum coverage. This role involves handling approximately 40 slides per day including non-GYN cytology, rare bone marrows, peripheral smear reviews, surgical pathology second reviews, gross coverage/frozen sections, and participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards. No autopsies are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret pathology slides including cytology and surgical cases.
• Provide gross coverage and frozen section support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
• Collaborate with staff pathologist and physician assistant.

Requirements

• Board certification in Pathology.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• No call required.
• No weekend work.
