About the Role

Join UAB St. Vincent's as a Social Worker – Monday-Friday, 4-Day Week in United States. Position Overview Department: Case Management Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 4 -10 hour shifts per week, Days. Position requires 1 saturday every 10 weeks (week day shifts are adjusted to accomodate).

Key Responsibilities

Will Do Investigate, assess and plan interventions to help patients cope with social, emotional, economic and environmental problems Interview patients, assess priorities and document case activity.

Develop and maintain working relationships with community health, welfare and social agencies and seek creat.

Benefits & Compensation

Consult with team managers, statutory and voluntary agencies and patient's relatives to ensure compliance with patient's treatment plan.

Assist clients/families with obtaining community assistance by referral to proper resources.

Develop and maintain working relationships with community health, welfare and social agencies and seek creative means to assist the client with his/her needs.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Day shift only - no nights.

This position offers day shifts only. Work with UAB St. Vincent's in United States.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license from the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners. A high school diploma or GED with at least two years of experience is required, though an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
