About the Role

Join Mount Sinai Health System as a Physician Assistant – Surgical First Assist in United States. Under supervision of a licensed physician, performs duties of a Physician Assistant including evaluation and treatment of patients having medical and/or surgical problems. Teaches staff and students and performs quality assurance functions for the department.

Primary clinical role will be bedside assisting for the General Surgery, Urology, GYN and Surgical Oncology services.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a NYS-approved physician assistant program and hold current registration as a Physician Assistant or Specialist Associate in New York State. Certification with the NCCPA is mandatory, and experience in robotic or operative settings is preferred.
