Outpatient Children's Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The therapist is responsible for performing psychosocial assessments and providing evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy to children and young adults. They must also maintain accurate clinical documentation, participate in treatment team meetings, and assist in mental health crisis situations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid license such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, with PLPC or LMSW candidates considered under supervision. A minimum of two years of counseling experience with children and youth experiencing serious emotional disturbances is required.
