Key Responsibilities

• Receives and fills prescriptions.

• Communicates with medical professionals about patients and their medications.

• Listens to patients’ reports of symptoms; provides suggestions for over

• counter medications.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) accredited by the accreditation council for pharmacy education.

• Current state

• approved license to practice – Texas State Board of Pharmacy License.

• Sterile Certification in Texas
