Key Responsibilities

  • This Psychiatrist position will allow for the use of onsite psychiatry care and Telepsychiatry in combination to perform the essential job functions
  • Work involves conducting psychiatric activities, monitoring trends, diagnosing, and treating SSLC residents
  • Administers quality and appropriate specialized psychiatric treatments, assessments, and procedures as needed
  • Participates in Peer Review Committees for performance improvement as appropriate
  • Performs other duties related to the position

Work Schedule

  • Generally, the Telepsychiatrist will work Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm in the SSLC’s time zone
  • Some deviations to the schedule may be pre-approved by the supervisor to meet the needs of the Telepsychiatrist and the SSLC
